Celebrate your summit with the Mt. Sherman trucker hat. Among one of the shortest and easiest 14ers in Colorado, Mt. Sherman (elevation 14,036 ft) has a long history of mining which is evident by the old dilapidated mining structures all over the mountain. It was named in honor of William Tecumseh Sherman who was a Union general during the Civil War. The Sherman Mine is a silver-lead-zinc deposit on the west side of the mountain and was mined on and off from 1968 until 1982—during this time it produced more than 10 million ounces of silver. The summit is so large and flat on this mountain that a small plane once made an emergency landing in January of 1967—the first and only time that has ever happened on a Colorado 14er! You’ll likely see plenty of canine hiking companions on this one but the large summit area has room for everyone. As part of Adventum’s Summa Collection, featuring a comfortable fit and our original summit design patch, this stylish snapback is bound to become your new favorite hat.

Hat Care

Dirty hats show character! Hats can get dirty and sweaty on hot summer days.

If you are looking to wash out some dirt or sweat stains, we recommend you hand wash or spot treat your cap with warm water and a light laundry detergent or small amounts of OxiClean. Air dry to help maintain shape.

Tip: rinsing with warm water regularly after particularly sweaty days will help maintain the hats best appearance.

We do not recommend letting your heat pressed hat soak in water. Soap, water, alcohol, and harsh chemical cleansers can weaken the glue bond between the patch and hat.
